Missionaries to Mexico City |

Mexico City is the largest city in the world, with an estimated 36 million people living in the city and in surrounding areas. More than 90% of these people profess to be Catholic. They need the soul saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. God has called us to plant churches throughout this city.
God prepared me to serve Him in Mexico before I knew I was going there. My father was born in Mexico, which allows me to have dual citizenship. I believe this will prove to be a great asset in fulfilling my calling in Mexico City. |

| In 1997, God called me to be a preacher after He saved my soul. Seeing the change in my life my wife Debra was saved and instantly delivered from smoking, drinking and cussing. In 2006, God put it upon my heart to start a church. We began a Bible study and within six months we were conducting two Bible studies with a combined attendance of 40 each week. My wife and I attended Lighthouse Baptist Church. Pastor Scheidbach and I met together for several hours each week, to help me grow in my understanding of the Bible. Before long, God clarified the direction He had for Debra and me. We believe the Lord wants us to establish a church in Texas of like faith and order – and extension of the ministry of Lighthouse Baptist Church - through our ministry. |

God is continually putting us in contact with young men who are interested in giving their lives to the cause of seeing the Gospel spread throughout Russia. I have certainly enjoyed being around the campus of Heatland Baptist Bible College, encouraging many young men to surrender their lives to missions. Recently I was introduced to a young Russian man, Nicolai, who is attending an Independent Baptist Bible Institute here in the States. He is excited about meeting up with us in Russia with dedicated families surrendering their lives. God wants to see Russia reached even more than we do.
We praise God daily for those of you who make it possible for us to take the Gospel to Russia. Without your prayers and financial support, we would not be able to go and tell the Good News of Jesus to the lost souls in Russia. A personal thank you to all the homes we have stayed in while on furlough. We will never forget your kindness. Thank you for your faithfulness to our ministry. |

Russia is a relatively new mission field. God has miraculously opened the door to this former Communist stronghold of atheism. There is no doubt that seven decades of Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev, Brezhnev, and Chernenko have taken its toll on the people of Russia. As the hearts of the Russian people, rejoicing in their new-found freedom, have begun to reach out, searching for something, our desire is to show them where to find everlasting freedom, the freedom that only Christ can bring. |
